Calibre Craft Beer Trading Co. was founded in 2012 by long time, passionate craft beer supporter, Daniel Rickard.
Having worked in the industry for a number of years and after a long appreciation as a consumer and avid “beer hunter”, Calibre was originally created as an opportunity to get involved in the craft beer, cider and spirits reform taking place in the Sunshine state.
Daniel has a mission to bring the highest Calibre and most progressive artisanal craft brands to the Queensland and Australian market, for your drinking pleasure.

Coming from a heavily on-premise cellar background, I appreciates a freshly cleaned keg room, a fully stocked fridge and perfect head of foam more than most.
I realise I'm very fortunate to be living and working in the craft beer scene while its running at full throttle, I hope to look back in a few years and know I played my part in the great craft conversion

Calibre Craft Liquor Merchants (previously Calibre Craft Beer Trading Co.) was founded in 2012 by craft beverage aficionado Daniel Rickard.

Tasked with “Flying the Good Beer Flag”, Calibre Craft Beer Trading Co. was first established with a focus on providing Queenslander’s a ready supply of quality, fresh and well handled Australian products, which remains ever more accurate today.
As a leading wholesale and brand ambassador, the Calibre portfolio has been carefully handpicked and collated to showcase some of the best Australian Beers, Ciders and Spirits available, whilst offering a great range in style that caters to diverse palettes and venues.
While all of the producers in the Calibre family have their own unique offerings and differing approaches, they ultimately share the same goals and passion in delivering some of Australia’s finest products.
